Welcome to the Concert
As the year draws to a close, we gather to celebrate not just a season, but the message that has echoed through generations – a song of joy, peace, hope, and unity. Songs of the Season is a musical journey that embraces the spirit of Christmas while reminding us of the values that strengthen our families, communities, as well as our nation.
The repertoire weaves together sacred classics, African folk expressions, and festive carols, reminding us that music is a universal language of love and togetherness. From the timeless majesty of Handel, Vivaldi, and Mozart, to the soulful harmonies of Moses Hogan and the vibrant sounds of East African choral arrangements, every piece is a reflection of light breaking through darkness, of hope reborn, and a deep desire for peace annd harmony among people.
