About the Camp

Notewise Music Hub presents a 6-day Children’s Music Bootcamp from 2nd August to 7th August, 2026 which will culminate with a recital on 9th August, 2026 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. This immersive program is designed for children interested in learning and enhancing their musical skills in the violin, piano, recorder, and voice.

Overview of the Bootcamp and Recital

The bootcamp aims to provide high-quality music education in a fun, engaging, and structured environment, culminating in a recital to showcase the progress and achievements of the participants.

Target Audience

5 – 24 Year Olds

Our target audience includes children aged between 5 and 17 years as well as young adults aged between 18 and 24 years who are interested in learning music.

The participants can be beginners, intermediate, or advanced learners.

Objectives

Music for Children

To provide structured music training for children in violin, piano, recorder, basic music theory and voice.

To enhance children’s confidence and stage presence through a recital performance.

To create an interactive learning environment that fosters creativity, discipline, and teamwork.

To nurture a lifelong appreciation for music among young learners and parents.

Expected Outcomes

Recital

Basic or improved understanding of the instrument selected.

CAMP

Bootcamp Structure

The bootcamp will run for 6 days with structured sessions, including practical lessons, theory, ensemble training, and performance coaching.

Foundations

Orientation, rhythm and beat, music theory, instrument and voice techniques, ensemble playing, sight reading and ear training, and performance skills.

Skill Development

Technique refinement, improvization and composition, group rehearsal, storytelling in music, dynamics and articulation, and fun music challenges.

Polishing and Performance

Stage etiquette – overcoming stage fright & engaging the audience, masterclass coaching and refinement, dress rehearsal, and grand recital.

Daily Schedule

Morning Session

Warm-up and fun games, instrument individual sessions, instrument group sessions, break & snacks, and music theory & sight-reading.

Afternoon Session

Ensemble rehearsals and choir practice, performance techniques and stage presence, and daily wrap-up and reflections.

Additional Activities

Music storytelling sessions, creative music composition exercises, and fun team-building activities with students and instructors.
