Music Instructor/ Music Teacher

    Notewise Music Hub is a growing hybrid (online & in-person) music training platform offering programs in Music Theory, Voice, Instruments (Guitar, Piano, Violin, Cello, Saxophone, Trumpet, Flute, Clarinet, Recorder among others), Choir training and performance. We also run specialized programs such as Holiday Music Bootcamps, Music Workshops, Seminars, Monthly Webinars, Masterclasses and a professional singing ensemble; The Notewise Chamber Chorus.

    We are passionate about nurturing musical talent from the earliest stages and equipping learners with the skills and confidence they need to perform, create and appreciate music.

    As we continue to grow, we are seeking dedicated, skilled and inspiring Music Instructors to join our team of educators and performers.

    The Music Instructor will play a central role in delivering high-quality music lessons in their area of specialization while supporting learners’ musical journeys. This position requires more than just technical expertise – it calls for patience, mentorship and the ability to motivate students of different ages & abilities, nurture their talents and maintain their passion for music.

    • Deliver engaging, professional and structured lessons in your area of expertise as assigned.
    • Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles, ages and abilities.
    • Guide students in building technical skills, musical expression and confidence.
    • Mentor learners toward personal growth, examinations and performance readiness.
    • Use Notewise Music Hub’s curriculum and supplement with creative input where necessary.
    • Develop clear lesson plans tailored to individual and group needs.
    • Prepare students for recitals, bootcamps, ensemble performances and exams.
    • Actively take part in Notewise events such as recitals, holiday bootcamps, workshops and concerts.
    • Encourage students to participate fully in performances and other enrichment activities.
    • Collaborate with fellow instructors to ensure high-quality productions.
    • Model professionalism, punctuality and commitment in all engagements.
    • Maintain positive communication with parents, learners and colleagues.
    • Represent Notewise Music Hub as a Brand Ambassador both in and outside the classroom.
    1. A Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Music, Music Education or a related field (or proven equivalent teaching/performing experience).
    2. Proficiency in your primary instrument/voice with strong teaching skills.
    3. Ability to teach music theory, sight-reading and practical musicianship.
    4. Previous teaching experience with children and/or adults is highly desirable.
    5. Familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Teams etc.) is an added advantage.
    6. Strong interpersonal skills, patience and enthusiasm for nurturing talent.

    • Engagement is contractual with compensation determined by the number of lessons taught.
    • Instructors are expected to honor their schedules and communicate promptly in case of unavoidable absences.
    • Additional involvement special projects will be agreed upon separately.
